You will be welcomed by our smiling representative from Kigali Airport depending on your arrival time and have a tour of Kigali which will take you to visit the Gisozi genocide site and the local markets. Drive to Volcanoes national park later through the hilly countryside for spectacular views of this country with a thousand hills. You will arrive late evening and check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and departure
Wake up early for breakfast at your lodge/hotel and set off to the park headquarters for briefing and registration at 7:00 am before proceeding for the memorable adventure. The time taken hiking to the habituated gorillas depends on the movement of the gorillas since they are wild animals that keep moving in the jungle looking for food.
