Your 3 days gorilla safari in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one of the world’s most incredible wildlife encounters that gives you an opportunity to be in a close range with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat and several other primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys among others. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is home to over 400 mountain gorillas which represent about half of the world’s population of surviving mountain Gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
You will be picked up by our experienced driver guide at your hotel After an early breakfast and embark on an 7-9 hour drive to Bwindi Forest National Park in Southwestern Uganda in kabale district. You will have a stopover at the equator for a photo moment and continue to Mbarara Town where you will have another stopover for lunch. You will later arrive in Bwindi National Park in the evening hours to relax at the lodge or embark on a community walk for cultural encounter and be entertained by the locals like the Batwa pygmies in their community. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest.
After the early morning breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the pre-track briefing by park officials on guidelines for mountain gorilla tracking before you hit the jungle in search for these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. Gorilla tracking is unpredictable and usually it takes from 2-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. You will transfer back to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Kampala.
You will set off to Kampala that morning after a very delicious breakfast and then later embark on your long drive to Kampala. You will enjoy great views of the rolling and terraced hills of kigezi along the way as you drive through that country side of the pearl of Africa. There will be a stopover at Igongo cultural center for lunch and for a great cultural encounter of the Ankole tribe.  You will later proceed to Kampala through Masaka arriving in the evening hours as you proceed to the airport to catchup with your flight.
